For anyone I come in contact, they know I eventually lead the conversation to positive solutions to addressing climate change. After the HRES Concert for the Climate in 2013, my husband and I became committed to making the necessary energy efficiencies to our home. This eventually led us to the installation of 30 solar panels, resulting in a nearly net zero energy usage. At times our solar installation generates more electricity than we use, so we know power our electric vehicle with this extra juice. It is my hope that my personal experience and success with renewables can provide the example that everyone can join in the solutions to address this complex issue.

My career of over 25 years has been in health and wellness, working with hospitals and the community to improve the health of our community. I believe a holistic approach to our health must include addressing the health of this earth, which we call home.
